Pathos AI raises $237 million alongside drug research partnership
Bristol Myers led the Series E financing, which valued Pathos at about $3 billion, as the companies announced a collaboration with Tempus AI.

Pathos AI announced $237 million in Series E funding on October 23, alongside a partnership with Bristol Myers Squibb and Tempus AI focused on AI tools for developing treatments for neurological disorders, including Alzheimer's disease.
Bristol Myers led the financing, with existing investors also contributing. The round gave the New York-based company a valuation of about $3 billion. Pathos said the money would expand its Foundry platform's capabilities and advance its AI-driven drug pipeline.
Under the collaboration, Tempus will compile information on hundreds of thousands of neurological-disorder patients. Pathos will license that dataset through an agreement worth $55 million over five years. The data is intended to support patient-outcome tracking and research on disease biology.
Pathos plans to use Foundry to analyze the information, formulate and test biological hypotheses, and guide clinical-trial designs that are more targeted and adaptive. Bristol Myers will get strategic access on a non-exclusive basis across its wider portfolio, plus exclusive platform rights for neuroscience development programs lasting three years.
The financing will also support experimental cancer treatment JSKN016 and other oncology programs. Those include an experimental treatment for breast cancer being developed in partnership with AstraZeneca.
