Google introduces Gemini task agent with businesses first in line
The company plans a later consumer rollout and says the agent will support third-party models, starting with Anthropic’s Claude.
Anthropic adds dashboard and animation tools to Claude
The company also moved Claude Docs, Slides and Design out of beta, making them generally available on all Claude plans.
Anthropic introduced two Claude tools on October 8 for building data dashboards and producing animations. The company said the additions are intended to let users work with business data and make visual content without writing code.
Offered in beta to paid-plan users, Claude Dashboards can link with business-data platforms and customer-management systems. Users can ask questions in ordinary language to generate analyses and live dashboards.
Claude Motion is being offered as a beta to Team and Enterprise customers. It supports animation creation, with results that users can edit and save as video files.
Separately, Anthropic ended beta testing for Claude Docs, Slides and Design and extended general availability to every Claude plan.
