Apple is looking to raise about $7 billion through a U.S. dollar bond sale, according to a November 5 media report citing people familiar with the matter. The amount remains undecided and could change with investor demand.

A regulatory filing outlines seven tranches: two notes carrying floating rates that mature in 2028 and 2029, plus five fixed-rate notes with maturities ranging from 2028 to 2036. Apple plans to put the proceeds toward general business needs, including repurchasing shares and paying back existing debt, the filing said.

For the tranche with the longest maturity, initial pricing guidance was set at a spread of 80 basis points above U.S. Treasuries, according to the media report.

The filing names Goldman Sachs, Bank of America Securities, Deutsche Bank Securities and JPMorgan as joint book-running managers. Goldman declined to discuss the offering's size. Apple and the other banks did not immediately provide comments.

Apple's previous bond sale was in May 2025. That four-part transaction raised $4.5 billion and drew orders totaling $10 billion.
