OpenAI President Greg Brockman said on November 4 that he expects the company to be prepared for an initial public offering in 2027. He also said sales to enterprise customers now account for most of its revenue.

Speaking at a technology conference in Napa, California, Brockman described efforts to expand business sales, including promoting OpenAI's Codex agent, as it competes with Anthropic.

Separately, a media report said San Francisco-based OpenAI had been stepping up fundraising efforts to capitalize on recent growth after postponing its IPO plans.
