The media company is also requiring five days in the office following its $110 billion takeover of Warner Bros Discovery.
Apple offers replacements for iPhone Duo devices with display faults
The company said a small number of units were affected, while repair specialist iFixit suggested a possible issue near the folding screen’s support bar.

Apple said on October 26 that it would replace iPhone Duo devices affected by inner-screen problems, acknowledging faults days after its first folding iPhone began reaching customers. The company said the issue affected a small number of units and generally appeared quickly.
Social media posts over the weekend showed cracks and lines around the inner screen’s central hinge. Apple directed customers experiencing display problems to AppleCare for replacements but did not identify a possible cause.
The launch drew customer lines worldwide amid limited inventory, after the first online orders sold out within minutes. Analysts have said the device’s manufacturing complexity would likely constrain supply.
Repair specialist iFixit built a 3D hinge simulation using teardown footage, patents and CT scans, then compared it with reported damage sites. It said damage appeared concentrated below a display cable near a central support bar. The bar might not move clear of the display during folding, potentially concentrating stress near the reported breaks, iFixit said.
Apple did not immediately respond to iFixit’s findings. Despite the potential hinge issue, iFixit ranked the Duo highest for repairability among the foldable phones it has tested. IDC vice president Francisco Jeronimo said offering replacements promptly was an appropriate initial response.
