The proposal would establish independent evaluations and a court process for halting frontier AI models, according to a media report.
Anthropic co-founder cites AI scenario for $44 trillion US economy by 2030
Jack Clark called for international cooperation on AI rules while describing an internal economic model's projection.

An internal economic model at Anthropic suggests artificial intelligence could lift US economic output to $44 trillion by 2030, co-founder Jack Clark said October 17 at the annual meetings of the IMF and World Bank in Bangkok.
Clark acknowledged that the projection appeared implausible compared with current output of just over $30 trillion. He said continued improvements in AI capabilities underpinned the scenario and that the technology was greatly accelerating scientific discovery.
An expansion on that scale would imply the creation of new industries and inventions to support it, Clark said, citing economic doctrine.
He also said advances in AI would accelerate change across fields and called for countries to cooperate on developing rules to govern the technology.
