AI startup Nous Research confirmed it raised $90 million in Series B funding, with Robot Ventures leading the round. The financing put its valuation at $1.5 billion and its cumulative funding at $158 million.

The three-year-old startup will direct the capital toward its enterprise expansion through Hermes for Businesses. Nous says companies can use the offering to deploy customized agents for multistep workflows, with their data kept private and secure.

Other investors in the financing included Samsung, Menlo Ventures, Nvidia, 1789 Capital and Union Square Ventures. Donald Trump Jr. holds a partner role at 1789 Capital.

Nous also develops the open-source Hermes agent for developers and individuals. By the company's estimates, clones of the agent exceed 24 million, and it drives about 2.5% of worldwide AI token usage.

A media report put Nous's annualized revenue at roughly $36 million as of mid-September 2026 and said the company expects to surpass $100 million by the end of 2026.
