SpaceX said on November 6 that Google executive Donald Harrison had stepped down as a director after serving for more than a decade. Harrison informed the company on November 4, with his resignation taking effect immediately.

The company, led by Elon Musk, said Harrison’s exit did not reflect any disagreement over its operations, policies or practices. Harrison is a longtime Google executive and currently serves as president of Global Partnerships and Corporate Development.

Separately, Google reported on November 6 that its SpaceX holding had increased slightly, reaching about 555 million shares compared with 551.2 million previously. LSEG data identifies Alphabet as SpaceX’s largest single institutional shareholder.
