Anthropic submitted its initial public offering filing on October 26, 2026, disclosing $16.3 billion in revenue for the first half of 2026 and plans for its founders to retain voting control. The company plans to trade under the ticker ANT.

Revenue for the comparable period in 2025 was $1.2 billion, according to the company's SEC filing. The operating loss declined from $2.1 billion to $693 million, but Anthropic posted a net loss of $80.7 billion, driven mainly by noncash accounting adjustments related to convertible debt. It cautioned that achieving or sustaining profitability might not be possible.

The filing detailed Anthropic's enterprise customer base at the end of September: more than 11,900 customers spent at least $100,000 annually, while 1,900 spent at least $1 million and about 250 spent at least $10 million.

An entity called Founder LLC will give the company's seven co-founders collective control of 50.1% of shareholder voting power after the IPO. Anthropic said this arrangement is intended to safeguard its AI safety mission.

The Long-Term Benefit Trust will also be empowered to select a majority of board members. Established in 2023, the trust is intended to keep Anthropic focused on its public benefit mission.

Neither the amount Anthropic seeks to raise nor a proposed price for its shares has been disclosed.
