Zenzap raises $44 million for AI workplace messaging app
Bessemer, Lightspeed and The Garage are among the investors backing the startup, which plans to expand its product and R&D teams.

Workplace messaging startup Zenzap has raised $44 million from investors including Bessemer, Lightspeed and The Garage. Individual backers include Wix president Nir Zohar and Yoram Tietz, former GM of EY.
Founder Guy Weiss said the app is intended for businesses across industries including hospitality, construction, healthcare and fast food. Zenzap aims to combine private staff communications with AI tools and organizational context while meeting companies’ IT and security requirements.
Its free offering includes direct and group messaging, tools for managing tasks and schedules, calendar integration, and AI voice chat and search. Paid plans start at $51 per month for up to 20 users, adding features such as video and voice calls, task templates, more file storage and workspace-wide AI search. Workflow agents and AI-assisted transcription of calls and voice notes use credit-based pricing.
Zenzap lists FedEx, Dollar General, Taco Bell, Starbucks, Casey’s and Regal among its clients. Weiss said some IHOP and McDonald’s branches use the platform to arrange shifts and discuss supplies. The startup employs 50 people across the U.S., Tel Aviv and Europe and wants to add staff in product and R&D.
Weiss founded Zenzap in 2022 with Noam Neumann and Jonatan Bien. He said he initially financed the app himself before Bessemer partner Adam Fisher persuaded him that venture capital would be needed to expand the business.
