Lambda, a cloud-computing business backed by Nvidia, is raising up to $4 billion in a financing that would precede its planned IPO, according to an October 6 media report. Citing people familiar with the matter, the report put the pre-money valuation at $14.5 billion and named Blackstone and Coatue Management as the round's leaders.

The financing would be Lambda's final round before going public. A letter to its limited partners cited in the report outlined a 2027 listing goal, conditional on execution and market conditions.

That letter showed unfilled orders totaling $50 billion in September, up from $15 billion in June. Lambda did not immediately provide a response to a request for comment.
