Philippine fintech Mynt opened its 53 billion Philippine peso ($844.3 million) initial public offering on October 6, the company said. Customers of its GCash digital wallet can buy shares through the app, with a minimum purchase of 660 pesos.

The subscription period ends October 12, and the shares are scheduled to debut October 20 on the Philippine Stock Exchange. Mynt priced each share at 6.60 pesos and said more than 20 institutional investors, both local and foreign, had committed to the offering.

GCash customers can submit orders through GStocks PH, the stock-trading service provided by AB Capital Securities. The minimum order is 100 shares. Mynt said orders placed on the opening day and the following day would receive an immediate allocation for their first 100 shares.

The offering comprises more than 8 billion shares. Mynt said proceeds could reach 60.9 billion pesos with full use of the additional-share option. Exercising the greenshoe option could make the IPO the Philippines' largest ever.
