Yung Filly, the popular entertainer known for his work with the YouTube group Beta Squad and BBC Three, has pleaded not guilty to a series of serious charges in Australia. The charges include three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, one count of strangulation, and four counts of sexual penetration without consent. These allegations emerged while Yung Filly, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, was touring his music in Australia.
The alleged incidents reportedly took place on Saturday, 28 September, in a hotel room after Yung Filly performed at a venue in Hillarys, a coastal suburb of Perth. The accusations involve a woman in her 20s who claims she was sexually assaulted in Yung Filly's hotel room following the performance. Since October 2024, Yung Filly has been out on bail as the legal proceedings unfold.
Yung Filly’s case is set to be heard in the higher district court of the state on 13 June.
