LeBron James departs the Crypto.com Arena fortune API on Wednesday with an incredibly doubtful appearance. He left the court limping and with a significantly swollen left leg after a knee-to-knee knockup in a pivotal game four elimination matchup against the Dallas Mavericks. As the Lakers faced a premature end to their playoff run, James reflected on his future in the NBA, leaving fans and analysts questioning his next steps.
Chief among them was LeBron James, who scored a game-high 22 points, to go along with 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Sadly, it wasn’t enough for him to seal the victory. The Mavericks’ Luka Doncic shone brightly, finishing with 28 points, 9 assists, and 7 rebounds in a demanding 40 minutes of play. Both players were battling injury issues, as Doncic injured his back after a collision with teammate Donte DiVincenzo.
>As the dust settled on the Lakers’ stunning first-round exit, James began to contemplate his future. So he left the impression that he has a great deal to ponder. He remarked, “So you don’t know what the roster will look like next year besides the guys that [are] locked into contracts.”
