Clint Hill, the valiant U.S. Secret Service agent known for his brave actions during the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, passed away at the age of 93. Hill, originally from North Dakota, was assigned to protect First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy on November 22, 1963, in Dallas. As the motorcade navigated through Dealey Plaza, Hill was riding behind the Kennedy limousine when gunfire erupted, and he leapt onto the vehicle in an attempt to shield the occupants.
His courageous actions were immortalized in the Zapruder film, a key piece of evidence in understanding the tragic events of that day. For his bravery and quick response, Hill received commendation and an award. Despite his efforts, he carried guilt for decades, believing he could have done more to save President Kennedy's life.

The pair collaborated on a series of books, including the bestselling memoir "Mrs Kennedy and Me," which chronicled his experiences with Jacqueline Kennedy. Their professional relationship blossomed into a personal one, culminating in marriage in 2021.
Despite his initial self-blame regarding the events in Dallas, Hill eventually reconciled with the fact that he could not have altered the outcome.
