The Norfolk and Norwich Festival, a historic event dating back hundreds of years, will extend its operating hours this year despite noise concerns from local residents. Scheduled to run from 9 May to 25 May, the festival will feature a vibrant array of shows and performances across various venues in the city. One of the most anticipated venues, the Spiegeltent located in Chapelfield Gardens, will host outdoor entertainment until 23:00 BST, following approval from the licensing committee.
Festival organizers applied for a license to allow the extended hours at the Spiegeltent, a decision supported by the licensing committee with the condition that noise levels will be closely monitored.
