The prestigious Lord’s Cricket Ground will host the final of the 2026 Women’s T20 World Cup on Sunday, July 5, marking a significant moment in the cricketing calendar. This much-beloved ground truly is one of the greatest in global cricket. This makes it the ideal host city for the thrilling conclusion of this tournament that brings together the world’s best talent.

England will welcome the Women’s T20 World Cup for the second time, following their successful hosting of the Women’s 50-over World Cup in 2017, where they triumphed at Lord’s. The tournament opens tentatively Friday, June 12, 2026.

Expanded Format
This edition will be with 12 teams, a huge departure from the last six editions that featured just 10 teams.

The schedule for the Women’s T20 World Cup is set to be released shortly. Before that, a number of teams have already booked their tickets to the big dance! In this case, England automatically qualifies as the host nation. Australia, India, New Zealand, West Indies, South Africa, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka can rely on their place in the tournament.
