Hollywood Drama: Nicolas Cage Exits Legal Battle, Son Faces Charges

Nicolas Cage has been removed from a lawsuit filed by his former partner, Christina Fulton, against their son, Weston Cage. Ms. Fulton alleges that Nicolas Cage was aware of Weston's "long history of mental and psychological disorder." The lawsuit, filed in February, accuses Weston Cage, 34, of "violent assault and battery" against his mother.

Ms. Fulton's legal actions against Weston Cage continue, claiming he attacked her in a "manic rage" without provocation. She asserts that the alleged assault resulted in concussion, neck and throat injuries, dental and abdominal trauma, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). These claims are part of a broader lawsuit that includes charges of negligence.

Weston Cage's lawyer dismissed the lawsuit as "nothing short of a money grab and call for attention," describing it as "frivolous." Despite these assertions, the proceedings against Weston Cage move forward. His arrest last June for two felony counts of assault with a deadly weapon adds to the gravity of the allegations. The arrest stemmed from an alleged assault related to the current legal issues.

"Mr Cage does not control Weston's behaviour in any manner and is not responsible for Weston's alleged assault of his mother." – Nicolas Cage's lawyers

The legal team for Nicolas Cage successfully argued for his removal from the lawsuit. They maintained that he bears no responsibility for his son's actions. With this development, the focus shifts entirely to Weston Cage and the ongoing litigation against him.
