A 19-year-old healthcare worker, Lucrecia Kormassa Koiyan, faces serious charges after a video surfaced showing her dancing provocatively over a disabled woman in her care. The incident, which took place in Loganville, Georgia—approximately 35 miles northeast of Atlanta—has sparked outrage and prompted a police investigation. Authorities arrested Koiyan and charged her with one count of exploitation of a disabled person.
The video, which Koiyan uploaded to the social media platform TikTok, shows her dancing over a disabled woman seated in a chair. According to the arrest warrant, Koiyan intended to gain social media followers from the post. The victim’s guardian confirmed that the victim did not consent to participate in such acts, and the victim herself did not appear to give consent during the recording.
Koiyan was employed by SNL Healthcare, LLC, a Georgia-based company providing various services to disabled individuals, including assistance with dressing, grooming, and daily health monitoring. The video was filmed at the same apartment complex where Koiyan was apprehended. She was subsequently booked into Walton County Jail but released on a $7,500 bond.
"Began to rub her genitals on the top of the victim's head," stated Loganville police Officer Kenneth Raines.
The incident prompted the Loganville Police Department to launch an investigation and execute a search warrant. As part of their inquiry, detectives are also examining a second video featuring Koiyan dancing provocatively over another person who appears to be disabled. This second video, captured at a different location, has led detectives to collaborate with law enforcement in other jurisdictions to further investigate the matter.
"To accumulate views or followers," added Officer Kenneth Raines regarding Koiyan's motive for posting the videos.
USA TODAY obtained Koiyan’s arrest warrant and reviewed the videos associated with the incidents. While Koiyan has not yet faced charges related to the second video, court records indicate that the case remains ongoing.
