A new lawsuit has been filed against Sean "Diddy" Combs, alleging a disturbing incident from 2015. Tony Buzbee, the attorney representing an unnamed male plaintiff, initiated the legal action in New York. The plaintiff claims that Combs assaulted him during an afterparty following a performance event. This lawsuit adds to the more than 30 civil suits Combs is facing, each alleging sexual assault and misconduct.
The lawsuit details a grim scenario where the plaintiff, then 23 years old, was performing at an event attended by Combs. Following the performance, which the plaintiff believed to be an "excellent performance," he received an invitation to an exclusive afterparty. Here, the VIP section featured "countless bottles of Combs' vodka, Ciroc," alongside substances such as marijuana, cocaine, and ecstasy.
The plaintiff's account alleges that after receiving a drink from one of Combs' associates, he began to feel disoriented, suspecting the drink was drugged. As he drifted in and out of consciousness, he observed Combs and his entourage engaging in "group sexual activity" with attendees who appeared "either drugged, unconscious, or as if they were paid escorts."
"The lawsuit states that while he drifted in and out, he observed Combs and his entourage allegedly engaging in 'group sexual activity' with attendees who appeared 'either drugged, unconscious, or as if they were paid escorts.'"
The plaintiff attempted to leave the party but was reportedly intercepted by Combs' security. The lawsuit further claims that Combs threatened to derail the plaintiff’s career prospects unless he stayed. It was during this time that the plaintiff alleges he was assaulted by Combs.
"After what the plaintiff believed to be an 'excellent performance,' he was invited to attend an afterparty, where the VIP section contained 'countless bottles of Combs' vodka, Ciroc,' as well as 'substances such as marijuana, cocaine, and ecstasy,' the lawsuit states."
Currently, Combs is held in a New York jail awaiting a federal criminal trial on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. Despite these serious allegations, Combs' legal team has denied all charges. They maintain that Combs has never engaged in sexual assault or trafficking and express confidence that the truth will ultimately prevail.
"Attorneys for Combs have denied the allegations, stating that the truth will prevail and that Combs never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone."
This lawsuit is part of a wave of over 10 new civil lawsuits anticipated in the coming days against Combs. These legal challenges continue to mount amid ongoing scrutiny of his past conduct.
