Comedian Josh Jones Bids Farewell to Dancing On Ice After Injury

Comedian Josh Jones has announced his withdrawal from the popular reality show Dancing On Ice due to an unfortunate injury. The 32-year-old entertainer, who was partnered with professional figure skater Tippy Packard, was set to perform in the third episode this Sunday. Despite being new to the ice, Jones has brought his signature humor and charm to the competition, captivating audiences with his unique flair.

Jones, who never skated before joining the show, took his first turn on the ice with Packard to the Scissor Sisters' hit "I Don't Feel Like Dancing." Although their performance was met with enthusiasm, the duo found themselves in the bottom two last week. Reflecting on his journey, Jones humorously remarked:

"as they say in Eurovision… nul points" – Josh Jones

Josh Jones is a familiar face in the comedy circuit and beyond. He hosts the historical gossip podcast "Dead Drama" and co-presents "Chatting With Cherubs" alongside fellow comedian Morgan Rees. His television appearances include Jonathan Ross' Comedy Club and 8 Out Of 10 Cats. Furthermore, he has hosted the BBC Three competition "Fast Food Face-Off," showcasing his versatility as a presenter and comedian.

The partnership between Jones and Tippy Packard will be sorely missed, as echoed by a heartfelt message on the official Dancing On Ice social media channels. In response to their unexpected departure, fans have taken to social media, calling for Chelsee Healey to rejoin the competition.
