Celebrated R&B Artist Angie Stone Tragically Dies in Alabama Car Crash

Angie Stone, the Grammy-nominated R&B artist, died in a car crash in Alabama on a fateful Saturday morning. The accident occurred shortly after she performed, leaving her fans and family in deep mourning. Stone, who was 63, had been traveling with around nine others in a van that tragically overturned. Her family rushed to Montgomery, Alabama, to be by her side during her final moments.

Angie Stone's career began as a member of the female hip-hop trio The Sequence in the 1970s. The group gained recognition with their hit song "Funk You Up," which peaked at number 15 on Billboard's Hot Soul Singles chart. Over the years, Stone evolved into a solo R&B artist, releasing popular tracks such as "No More Rain (In This Cloud)" and "Wish I Didn't Miss You."
