A general sale is scheduled to begin at 12:00 GMT on Friday, adding to the anticipation and frenzy among fans.
The cost of attending live events has surged significantly over the past few years. Ticket prices have increased by an average of 9.9% annually, a stark contrast to the pre-pandemic growth rate of 3% to 4% per year. Pollstar data indicates that an average ticket now costs around £139. In comparison, the last time Beyoncé performed in London, tickets started at £56.25, with VIP packages costing up to £2,400.
Tim Chambers, a ticketing expert, emphasizes this dramatic rise in touring expenses.
"Artists were forced to take a couple of years out, because no-one could tour, but they still had living expenses and lifestyle expenses. So apart from the increase in costs, you're looking to capture what you can from the live experience." – Chambers

"Every time a major artist announces tickets at £200 or £300, the consumer doesn't necessarily have that additional amount in their wallet, so they look to cut back in where they can" – Chambers
Chambers also notes that in other entertainment sectors like sports, exorbitant ticket prices are sometimes seen as a status symbol.
"In sports… somehow it's a badge of honour that if you spend $7,000 (£5,600) for a Lakers ticket, it's OK" – Michael Rapino
