Her family posted the heartbreaking news early Sunday morning. They disclosed it was by her loving family and close friends that she was surrounded with at the time of her passing.
Caliente had been experiencing significant health issues in recent days. Just days before her death, she had surgery to amputate part of her leg as a result of a devastating infection. Despite her struggles, she continued to inspire many with her infectious energy, fierce wit, and unwavering authenticity, as noted by her family in their heartfelt tribute.

Jiggly Caliente came to national attention as a competitor on the fourth season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” There, she operated at an entirely different level, dazzling audiences with her extraordinary aesthetic and jaw-dropping artistry. She then went on to compete in the sixth series of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” in 2021. Caliente proved her fierce talent on stage with jaw-dropping performances. She paid her dues to the drag community, reigning as a judge on “Drag Race Philippines” for three seasons.
Publicly transitioning in 2016, Caliente became a forceful presence in advocating for LGBTQ+ rights and representation. One key aspect of her legacy is her commitment to radical love, courage, and light—key ideas that her family highlighted in their announcement.
