Ronald Leslie Dumas Jr., 37, has been missing since December 15, and authorities now suspect foul play. A significant shift in the investigation has led to the issuance of five warrants connected to his disappearance. The police are actively seeking Quintarius Shikelion White, 32; Toure Laron McLaurin, 33; Sabrina Rochelle Chambers, 27; Kierra Symone Clark, 27; and Carissa Cash, 33, in relation to Dumas's abduction.
White, McLaurin, and Chambers face charges of first-degree kidnapping. Clark is sought for conspiracy to commit kidnapping, while Cash is wanted for first-degree receiving stolen property. The case took a crucial turn when Dumas's car was discovered 170 miles away in Camden, Tennessee, on December 16. Furthermore, Dumas's phone last pinged on December 21, heading south from Memphis.
Dumas was last captured on surveillance footage entering and leaving a liquor store in Huntsville with two women on the day of his disappearance. Although he did not appear to be under any distress at that time, police suspect multiple individuals were involved in the abduction.
"The investigation is gaining momentum, but it remains possible that resolving this case will take significant time," said the police.
In collaboration with the FBI, investigators have pinpointed a 450-acre area south of Memphis as a potential location where Dumas may be found. The U.S. Marshal’s Task Force and the FBI are working alongside local police to follow up on this lead and continue their search efforts.
The authorities urge anyone with information regarding Dumas’s whereabouts to come forward. Individuals can contact Investigator Stephen Gibbs directly or provide information anonymously through Huntsville Area Crimestoppers.
