He acknowledged that he doesn’t expect the controversial bill to be completed today. I think that would be impossible to do in today’s environment. “The runway is short today,” Maryland U.S. Rep. Andy Harris said. He issued this proclamation after hosting Trump and several other members of the House Freedom Caucus at the White House to discuss strategy. Leadership, he said, would have to decide what to do next with the bill.
