Mariah Carey Set to Headline Brighton Pride 2025

Mariah Carey will grace the Brighton Pride festival this summer as the headlining act. This UK festival exclusive marks Carey's return to the British stage, her first live performance in the country since her 2019 concerts at the Royal Albert Hall. The event, known as Pride on the Park, will take place at Preston Park on 2 August, kicking off the two-day festival.

Carey's involvement comes after she was initially scheduled to perform at the festival in 2020, an event that was ultimately canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. With 19 number one singles and over 200 million albums sold worldwide, Carey is renowned for hits such as "Fantasy," "Always Be My Baby," and "All I Want For Christmas Is You."

"I can't wait to see all your beautiful faces at Pride on the Park 2025. It's going to be a scorcher." – Mariah Carey

Tickets for Pride on the Park will be available starting 20 February. The festival is a key highlight of Brighton's cultural calendar, attracting a significant crowd of approximately 300,000 attendees at the parade last year. Event organizers have promised more acts will be announced, building anticipation for the festival.

Pride on the Park has hosted notable performers in recent years, with Girls Aloud headlining in 2024 and Black Eyed Peas in 2023. Paul Kemp, Brighton Pride's managing director, described Carey as a "global icon," underscoring her significance in this year's lineup.
